Assistive technology helps students to communicate their ideas, choices, feelings and preferences with others.
Many applications and programs also assist students to practice skills in Key Learning Areas.
Smartboards
The smartboards in each classroom and in common areas of the school are used daily as part of programs such as morning circle, literacy, mathematics, music, assemblies and much more.
Computers
Computers are located in each classroom and are used; to access online programs, as a research tool, to complete class programs and for word processing.
Switches
Switches are used as a 'low tech' way to give students a voice. Switches are used during activities such as greetings, requesting more, answering questions and making choices.
